waiting for sunrise

sheher me roshni ya kuhra ...

jane kyun hain ye  kuch bheegi kuch sooji hui si
shayd aaj fir aankhein teri raah dekhti rahi ...

neend toh waise bhi  inse kafoor ho chuki hai
teri ek jhalak k liye ye seher (dawn) tak jaagti rahin..


karti rahin apni badnaseebi ka gila ..
ki dur tak falak pe tera nishan bhi nahi mila ..

jab jaaag chuke the parinde baste the jo ghosle me paas
laut aain ye khud ko dila kar fir wohi  aaas..

"tum aae hoge" ..

par shayad iss sheher me roshni bahot thi..
ya aaj   --  kuhra kafi ghana chaya tha ..




Occasion : Nothing spcl .. jst waited too long 2 see sunrise. Both on the day and in my Life.
These foggy winter mornings -- coldn't get a glimpse of sunrise till 5:30 in the morning ..phewww ...
